This is a starting draft written for a small personal portfolio site. It must be reviewed, and adjusted to match the analytics, hosting and form handling actually in use, before the site goes live.
Who this policy covers
This website is the personal portfolio of Jason, an automotive writer based in Lidcombe, New South Wales, Australia. It exists to introduce him and to link to articles he has written for other publications.
Contact form
The contact form does not send anything to a server on this site. When you submit it, your browser opens your own email application with the message pre-filled, and you decide whether to send it. Any message you do send arrives as an ordinary email and is stored in that mailbox.
Messages are kept only as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. Ask at any time to have your message deleted.
Analytics
If website analytics are enabled, they are used to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Replace this paragraph with the name of the analytics provider in use, what it collects, and whether the data is aggregated or identifies individual visitors.
Cookies
